The,”Mask “ series I begun because I believe that life is like a play with many players, scenes, endings. When we are in need, we project onto others what we need to survive. In life, some people are going to be good guys, other bad.

Osho, the mystic, says, that there are at least 100 people inside of us, and at any given minute one of them is going to break out and appear.
Likewise, any of these spirits could reveal themselves as a killer, or a saint. Yet, the worst could happen when you project yourself onto someone else unwillingly in order to act out. Life ultimately, is a very selfish act, we are so self involved, we hardly slow down enough to see it.

So my intention was to capture, many of my different moods, daily experiences, much like a visual diary.
There is a Latin word, “ simulacrum,” which means,” Mask in Life”. Gurjieff the Mystic, talks about our false personalities, these different personalties could appear most often in our days when you are being hustled by somthing like a insurance salesman; when they are lying onto themselves.

Then there is the question of trust. Why as in life you open your door to the Pizza man, and not to others. Or why we put huge picture windows in our beautiful homes to let the outside world in, and yet also put tremendous security systems to keep them out.

The goal is to see yourself behind all of your masks, all of your illusions, and become free.

Embrace all as self.
